Riding the storm out
A strong wave of thunderstorms hit us about 10 p.m. The thunder and lightening were at first spectacular, then a bit scary. Our tent roof held up to the onslaught, but we were in a low spot and took on some water. The storms lasted all night. We didn’t get much sleep and finally headed for a hotel room about 4 a.m.
